In our Meet an Earner interview series, we ask real-life web3 earners about their journey, experiences and insights on earning with web3.

We recently connected with Idena user TravCrypto1. He shared some of his experiences using Idena, how he is actively participating and earning daily.

Tell us a little about yourself?

I have been involved in the Blockchain, Crypto, and Web3 space since 2016. I am originally from Fort Myers, Florida, United States.

How did you learn about Idena and when did you start using it? 

I learned about Idena because I was searching for a blockchain network with a consensus mechanism that wasn’t inherently plutocratic. I started using Idena in early 2020.

What do you like about Idena? 

I like Idena because it is easy to participate in the network and it is accessible to everyone.

How often do you use Idena? Where do you use it? 

In the past, I have primarily just participated in the validation ceremonies and the community on Discord/Telegram. However, with the recent Mainnet launch and the release of smart contracts, I am interested to see which dApps (Decentralized Applications) will be launched on the Idena Network.

What realm/blockchain are you currently on – Solana, BNB, Ethereum?

I have participated in many different Layer 1 Blockchain Ecosystems, and continue to do so today.

Roughly how much of their token do you earn per week or month? 

I earn $IDN in a variety of different ways, validating, mining & staking. You can see my wallet address and all of my Idena earnings on their Explorer here.

Where else are you earning on Web3? 

I am not earning anywhere else in web3, Idena is the only protocol I am currently using.
