We recently connected with DEFIT web3 earner Phil Fearless.

He shared some of his experiences using DEFIT, how he got into it and how he is earning. 

Tell us a little about yourself?

My name is Phil, 35 years old, living in Berlin/Germany. I’m an ex-semi-professional swimmer and handball player, in love with sports & fitness, photography, traveling and the outdoors, enthusiastic about blockchain technology and web3.

How did you learn about DEFIT and when did you start using it

I first stumbled across DEFIT while reading an article in autumn 2021, before the upcoming overall hype of “MoveToEarn”. I liked what I read and at this point just invested some funds in the project, aiming to make some profits later. After the M2E-Hype was kicking in in spring 2022, I began to research deeper on all the different projects and made my choice for DEFIT. Started to use it intensely then in Summer 2022 when the free-to-play mode was released.

What do you like about DEFIT?

A few of my biggest passions are sports, people, nature, photography and technology. DEFIT lets me combine the passions perfectly. We all struggle with motivation for working out sometimes but since I use DEFIT I’m already looking forward for tomorrow’s workout when lying in bed the evening before and barely skip workouts caused by lack of motivation.

I’m also the captain of my own Team (thanks to DEFIT for this awesome and unique feature) and can’t let down my teammates who are happy about every ‘Aura’ (rewards boost) I am dropping to them with my workouts. A good leader has to lead by example when others are counting on him.

What I additionally really like about DEFIT is the style of the building process. The features they build are well-thought and based on user-experience and community feedback. It’s about creating something long-lasting and not just user’s short-term gains.

Last but not least: I really like the fact that the founder & CEO of DEFIT is a former tri-athlete himself.

How often do you use DEFIT? Where do you use it?

I use DEFIT almost daily, depending on the time I have. In Winter now mostly on my treadmill or in the swimming pool. Cant wait for summer when I can continue with open water swimming, biking tours and nature walks.

Roughly how much of their token do you earn per week or month?

Depends on a few factor like time, effort, tier status activity types and aura drops but at current state as a Platinum member I roughly earn 300 – 500 $DEFIT per week.

Where else are you earning on web3?

GENOPETS on Solana, DOGAMI on Tezos, BNB Chain on MEMELORDZ. Not a fan of Ethereum and its unpredictable high transaction fees.
I will dive deeper a lot into Arbitrum in the future. most promising chain next to Polygon.
